How does it work?

Medical Tattooing is implanting medically certified pigment into the skin, creating definition, shading and colour. It can treat the following conditions:

  • Scarring

  • Skin grafts

  • Nipple and areola

  • Cleft lip

  • Port-wine stains

  • Vitiligo

  • Lack of pigment in the skin

  • Lack of hair on brows, lash line, and scalp

Our treatments

The number of sessions will depend upon the area’s size to be treated, the level of discolouration and the outcomes of any healed surgery results. How well the aftercare is adhered to is also very important. The treatment is not painful but can be tender; an anaesthetic numbing creams can be used before and during the treatment to control the sensation and ensure clients are comfortable.

The final results can be life-changing and will tend to look darker in appearance at first. However, this will soften during the healing period, the colour will lighten considerably. At Danielle James Clinic Liverpool, we recommend that you follow a simple aftercare routine that involves basic care of the area and applying a gentle balm or lotion.
